Possible work stoppage at Canada Post - Hydro-Québec recommends that customers sign up for Online Billing

Hydro-Québec recommends that customers sign up for Online Billing as soon as possible in order to receive and pay their electricity bill in the event of a work stoppage at Canada Post.

Hydro-Québec would like to remind its customers that in the event of a work stoppage at Canada Post, they must still pay their electricity bill by the due date, as is the case for all their bills, in order to avoid paying administration charges.

Signing up for Online Billing is simple and only takes a few minutes:

  • Online: https://www.hydroquebec.com/portail/en/web/clientele/creation-espace-clientThis link will open a new window.
  • By phone: 1 888 385-7252

Hydro-Québec customers can pay their bill using Online Payment or through their financial institution: at an ATM, online or at the counter. They can also sign up for Pre-Authorized Debit.

Please note that customers can also call us at the following numbers to find out their balance and the due date of their bill:

  • Residential customers: 514 385-7252 or 1 888 385-7252 (select option 2, followed by option 1, and then option 1)
  • Business customers: 1 800 463-9900.
