Press Release

Spring Break at the Électrium: Free, fun workshops for budding scientists!

During March Break, the Électrium is offering an energizing—and free—program!  Introductory science workshops run by Profaqua, a firm that specializes in popularizing science, will captivate curious children, ages 6 and up. Guided tours of the electricity interpretation centre will also be available.

Fun workshops for the whole family
From March 2 to 8, 2015, there will be more than just electricity on the agenda at the Électrium. Children will get to participate in workshops on a variety of scientific subjects. They can pretend to be detectives and solve a crime, learn how planes stay airborne, demystify light and magnetism and discover whether there are volcanoes in Québec. Every theme will arouse kids’ curiosity.

Guides will lead children and their parents through a new theme every day.
