A new public charging station in MontréalCollège Ahuntsic joins the Electric Circuit

The Electric Circuit is pleased to announce the signing of a partnership agreement with Collège Ahuntsic in order to commission a public charging station for plug-in electric vehicles. Visitors will soon be able to charge their vehicles in the south side external parking lot located directly in front of the Collège, which is accessible by Saint-Hubert street.

“Thanks to this initiative, Collège Ahuntsic will continue its development and association with partners to implement innovative measures in environmental protection. We are pleased to offer the members of our college community as well as the residents of Ahuntsic concrete choices to help fight climate change.”  

“We are extremely proud of our partnership with Collège Ahuntsic, which is a Cégep Vert du Québec certified establishment,” said Pierre-Luc Desgagné, Vice President – Public and Government Affairs at Hydro-Québec, on behalf of the partners of the Electric Circuit. “This new agreement fits in perfectly with the Electric Circuit’s development objectives. Our network now has more than 90 private and institutional partners. We are very proud and the commitment is undeniable.”


About the Electric Circuit

The Electric Circuit is the largest public charging network in Québec. It is a major initiative in providing the charging infrastructure required to support the adoption of plug-in electric vehicles in Québec. The network has more than 360 public charging stations, including 8 fast-charge stations, in operation in select parking lots of the AMT as well as several RONA stores, Metro grocery stores and St-Hubert restaurants across Québec. Since its launch in March 2012, 93 private and institutional partners have joined the Electric Circuit.

Electric Circuit users have access to a 24/7 telephone help line run by CAA-Québec as well as a charging station locator service. The Electric Circuit Web site theelectriccircuit.com and the mobile application for iOS and Android are updated as new stations are installed or commissioned.
