Hydro-Québec is pleased to once again be the presenting sponsor of the 31st Défi sportif AlterGo. This unique sporting event will be held in Montréal and Longueuil from April 28 to May 4, 2014, and will bring together over 5,200 elite and school level participants as well as promising disabled athletes from some 20 countries, competing in 14 sports.

For seven days, participants will surpass themselves in athletics, basketball, boccia, curling, fencing, flag football, goalball, rhythmic gymnastics, ball hockey, swimming, para-cycling, rugby, soccer and volleyball. For the first time, the Défi sportif AlterGo will host the Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship and the Boccia World Open. This year you can also attend the gold medal match of the International Seated Volleyball event on Sunday, May 4, at noon, at the Complexe sportif Claude-Robillard.

A supporter of the Défi sportif AlterGo for the past twenty-four years, Hydro-Québec is proud to support these athletes as they strive to win. In sponsoring the event, the company hopes to help participants go beyond their limits and soar to new heights.
