Promenades Drummondville and the Electric Circuit offer two new public charging stations for electric vehicles

Montréal, July 3, 2015 – The Electric Circuit is pleased to announce the signing of a partnership agreement with Westcliff, retail manager of the Promenades Drummondville, as well as the commissioning of two new public charging stations for electric vehicles. Visitors can now charge their cars in the parking lot of Promenades Drummondville, located at 755, boul. René-Lévesque.

“Promenades Drummondville is very pleased to offer this new service to customers who have chosen to purchase an electric vehicle. This measure, which is complementary to the eight Tesla charging stations we recently inaugurated, is an addition to the wide array of services we offer our customers and highlights our concrete commitment to protecting the environment,” said Céline Burdet, General Manager.

“We are delighted to welcome Promenades Drummondville to our network,” said France Lampron, Director – Transportation Electrification at Hydro-Québec on behalf of the founding partners of the Electric Circuit. “This initiative is great news for owners of plug-in electric vehicle drivers who can now take advantage of two additional charging stations in the region.”

About the Electric Circuit
The Electric Circuit is the largest public charging network in Québec. It is a major initiative in the implementation of the infrastructure required to support the adoption of plug-in electric vehicles in the province. The network comprises nearly 420 public charging stations, including 10 fast-charge stations, in operation across 15 Québec regions. Electric Circuit users have access to a 24/7 telephone help line run by CAA-Québec, as well as a charging-station locator service. The Electric Circuit Web site theelectriccircuit.com and the mobile app for iOS and Android are updated as new stations are commissioned. The Electric Circuit card also allows users to access VERnetwork’s 150 Québec charging stations.

Deschaillons-sur-Saint-Laurent (1 charging station)
Drummondville (6 charging stations)
Lyster (1 charging station)
Plessisville (2 charging stations)
