Moving: Online address changes for Hydro-Québec customers are free until September 30

As moving season heats up, Hydro-Québec would like to remind customers that until September 30, 2017, they can save by notifying us of their address change online.

By letting us know about a change of address on our Web site, customers can avoid the $20 administration charge (current customers) or the $50 new file charge (new customers).

In 2016, almost 700,000 customers moved to a new address, with close to 70,000 moves on July 1.

To meet customer needs, Hydro-Québec’s customer relations centres will be open on July 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Customers must notify us of their moving-in date to confirm they’ll have electricity service at their new address.
