Québec-Vermont Electric Charging Corridor EV travel on both sides of the border

Press conference - June 17th 2013
Québec Premier Pauline Marois poses with Martine Ouellet, Minister of Natural Resources, and Thierry Vandal, CEO of Hydro-Québec, at the announcement of the Québec-Vermont Electric Charging Corridor.

Québec Premier Pauline Marois and Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin announced the implementation of the first electric charging corridor linking Québec and Vermont. Some 160 kilometres long, the route is comprised of 31 charging stations of the Electric Circuit, the largest public charging network in Québec, and Drive Electric Vermont network. This number is expected to grow as more partnership agreements are signed.

Starting this fall, plug-in electric vehicle drivers can travel the Corridor with peace of mind, knowing they can fill up on clean, renewable energy at one of the charging stations located between Montréal and Burlington.
